Course Details

The space camp is the perfect opportunity for children to engage in an array of exciting and innovative activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Whether it's building and programming with LEGO WeDo, launching rockets, or repairing broken robots, there's something for every child to explore and learn.

Through engaging activities such as building a model fan, designing and building an astronaut lander, and creating a network of Global Eye projects to explore new planets, children will be challenged to think outside the box and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

Another fascinating activity is building a space elevator, where children can learn about the costs of space exploration and the importance of sustainability. Additionally, they can practice landing on specific spots on the Moon or Mars by building a rubber-band-powered rover that zips down a line and drops a "lander" onto a target.

Finally, the camp offers the opportunity to design and build rockets from two-liter plastic soda bottles, encouraging children to use their imaginations and creativity to make the rockets travel as far and straight as possible or stay aloft as long as possible.

Overall, the camp offers an unparalleled experience that combines fun, education, and exploration, making it perfect for any child interested in space exploration, engineering, and robotics.
