Clubs in École Moser

Extra-curricular activities in École Moser are organized from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., and also on Wednesdays between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

We have been providing digital programs for the children of the school since 2019. École Moser is our first partnership school.

 

 

Game Development

The course teaches students to create a game using Construct3, starting with fundamental concepts like adding characters, backgrounds, platforms, and coins, and programming hero movements. Students learn to incorporate score and health variables, design user interfaces, and create patrolling opponents. Advanced topics include developing obstacles, multiple levels, teleports, and checkpoints. Animation techniques and shooting mechanics are covered, along with enhancing character abilities. The curriculum culminates in designing a Super Boss level, conceptualizing game plots, creating menus, saving game progress, and developing a fighting game. Final lessons focus on project presentation and peer feedback for a comprehensive understanding of game development.

Competitive Robotics

The Competitive Robotics course with LEGO Inventor offers an engaging and practical learning experience for children interested in robotics. This course introduces the fundamentals of robotics, allowing participants to design and program their robots using LEGO Inventor. Children will build robotic cars and learn to integrate sensors for tasks such as line-following, parking, and gesture control using artificial intelligence. Experienced instructors will guide them through various challenges to test and enhance their robots’ abilities, including color identification and obstacle navigation. By the end of the course, children will have developed a strong foundation in robotics, gaining valuable skills in programming and controlling their creations effectively. This course fosters creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills, providing an exciting and educational experience for young minds.

Experimental Science

Scientific experiments and hands-on activities are exciting topics that encompass a wide range of experiences. Students will delve into the principles of physics, chemistry, and engineering through interactive experiments that demonstrate concepts such as force, motion, and energy. Additionally, they will embark on architectural adventures where they design and build structures using various materials, fostering their creativity and spatial reasoning. This course will unleash their scientific curiosity, stimulate their problem-solving skills, and nurture their fascination with the physical and architectural fields.

Entrepreneurship

Students will learn the fundamental concepts of entrepreneurship, such as identifying opportunities, creating innovative solutions, and managing resources. They will participate in simulated business projects, developing their own product ideas, marketing strategies, and pricing models. Through team exercises and leadership activities, they will cultivate essential skills such as communication, negotiation, and decision-making. This course will ignite their entrepreneurial spirit, boost their self-confidence, and provide them with valuable skills for their future ventures in the dynamic world of business.

Digital Arts

Students will explore a variety of digital arts and crafting techniques, such as using glue guns to assemble unique projects, creating dazzling mosaics with colorful tiles, and making beautiful ikebanas inspired by the Japanese art of flower arrangement. They will learn to use different tools and materials, enhancing their dexterity and attention to detail. By working with their hands, and leveraging power of generative artificial intelligence, children will develop patience, problem-solving skills, and a sense of accomplishment. This course will inspire their artistic talents, ignite their passion for creation, and provide them with a diverse set of digital & crafting skills.
