Join us for an exciting hands-on camp where children will dive into the world of technology by creating their very own wearable mini PC using a Raspberry Pi and a touch display. This camp offers a unique blend of creativity, engineering, and programming as participants will learn how to assemble the hardware, configure the software, and customize their device to fit on their wrist like a high-tech gadget.
Throughout the camp, children will:
Explore Hardware Basics: Understand the components of a Raspberry Pi and how they interact to form a functional computer.
Build and Assemble: Learn to connect the Raspberry Pi to a touch display, battery pack, and other peripherals, transforming it into a wearable device.
Code and Customize: Dive into programming basics to set up the operating system, create custom games.
Wear and Show Off: Once completed, participants will proudly wear their mini PC and demonstrate its capabilities to their peers.
The camp includes the price of the device (Raspberry Pi, Touch Screen, PowerBank, micro SD and velcro connector).
And children can take it home!
